We want to move last year's Retained earnings account balance to this year .
Due to some reason the retained earnings starting April 2016 which is our begining of the year did not inlcude some balance of last year
values from legacgy hence we decided to post the last yer remaining to another GL account.
1 ) Can we move the value from this GL Account to Retained earnings account
2) In test system I removed the post auto indicator and was able to post to retained earnings account
3) if i do step 2 will it have any impact in the year end process ?
4) Can I do such thing ?
Can someone please reply this is bit urgent !!
