The production database has grown to huge size in over 2years and we want to implement partitioning for the large tables in SAP now. These are some of the top sized tables in our system. Please can anyone suggest is there any SAP document/guidelines available to partition these tables. What partitioning type and partition columns to choose etc? I referred through many notes and couldn't find any solution looking for.
There is a note 1333328 regarding SAP Partitioning Engine and I ran the program RSORAPARTGEN, but it has only limited set of tables and doesn't include the tables we want to partition.
Please provide any suggestions to partition these tables in SAP -
